Finally have found out who will play Lord John Grey in series three of Outlander. Well, I must admit he is rather dishy to look at but he is way too tall. David Berry is over 6 feet in height and that is not LJG. What is wrong with getting a handsome actor who is smaller and slight in stature. I just have to shake my head and think - that's Hollywood for you.

sometimes people are cast for other reasons than their physical appearance fits, I guess he fits the other criteria. We should see him in action before we judge whether he 'is' LJG. hug

are you looking forward to S3? Personally it was my favourite book so will be interesting where they go with it.

Hi Tearose
You are right, I should wait and see the other criteria before judging their choice of the actor to play LJG in S3.  I agree with you regarding the third book.  It's my favorite as well.  I'm waiting for delivery of season 2 DVD  which should be arriving at my front door around the second of November.  The weather here is finally cooling down and the maple leaves are beautiful to see - gorgeous colours.  Will have lots of raking to do in the near future.

Thank you Amanda (tearose) for all this fantastic casting news!

I think Starz have done a stellar job with casting up to now, so I am also waiting with baited breath to see my favourite book of the Series & all time, brought to life on screen.  Like everyone else I cannot wait to witness the glorious reunion scenes, & this gripping adventure as a whole.  Having my fellow Beauchums to weather this current Droughtlander is a Godsend.  We keep our spirits going & share all the latest exciting news/clips/piccies until Season 3 hits our screens & our beloved forum here (fingers crossed) next year!
